Self-Help Blogs
Welcome to our self-help blogs page! Here you will find a collection of blog posts dedicated to self-improvement.
These blog posts could cover ways to make more money, how to save money, be healthier, happier, how to invest in your future, etc. If you’re motivated enough to read our blog posts, we’re motivated to keep writing them and hopefully make a difference in your life!
Self-help blogs are really nothing more than a guide. Ultimately, you’re going to have to take personal responsibility to improve yourself and decide who you want to me!
Remember, the moment you accept total responsibility for everything in your life is the moment you claim the power to change anything in your life.
Don’t you just love the quote above? The reality is too many people decide they are helpless, or are convinced they are victims so they don’t even bother trying. True, you may start the race behind others, but that is no reason not to run it.
5 years ago my wife an I were living paycheck to paycheck. No retirement savings or assets of any kind. I grew up on the other side of the tracks and used to think that was just my lot in life. I had an “okay” job, but ultimately we were just spinning tires.
It was the moment that I realized I was the one in control of my life that everything changed. I started doing some side hustles and paid off all my debts. Started being a little frugal and started investing. I worked harder than ever before, and received a large bonus at work for my efforts which I used to buy my first home.
A few years later after continuing to work hard, save, and hustle we were able to buy an investment property. My wife was also promoted as she found my drive to be infectious. We went from zero net worth to nearly $350,000 in just 5 years. We're debt free (minus mortgages), with over $1,000 of passive income a month coming in. Plus we now have an extra $3,500 a month left over, after all expenses, not including the passive income.
I don’t say these things to brag, though I am very proud of our accomplishments. The point is, if I never changed my way of thinking, I never would have made those accomplishments. Subscribe to my blog and I’ll send you my self-help blogs whenever I write them. I’ll never stop trying to improve so I’ll always have something to write about.
